Wavefront LASIK which is also termed as Custom LASIK makes use of 3 dimensional measurements to find how our eyes process the images when we see objects. Using such measurements, they can use laser for reshaping the cornea to reduce vision errors.  The measurements using wavefront system is very accurate which allows perfect vision correction which is not feasible through traditional LASIK surgery. The treatment will be custom depending on requirements of the patient and the size of their eyes.

For a patient to be fit for Wavefront LASIK, he/she needs to meet certain eligibility criteria. The factors that will be considered are thickness of cornea of the patient, precios of laser system that are used by the surgeon, whether the patient has moderate to high myopia, hyper meteropia or astigmatism. After shaping the cornea, the irregularities will be removed and the eyes will get fixed.
